Kayla Johnson is a 2011 graduate of Franklin Pierce University with a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Communications and Advertising. Kayla was a 4 year starting pitcher for the Ravens. She graduated in 2007 from Alvirne High School, in Hudson, NH, where she set the school's strike out record of 772 over her 4 years serving in the circle for the Broncos.
Throughout her college softball career Kayla served as captain both her Junior and Senior years. She made the NCAA Honor Roll, team MVP, as well as the CoSIDA/ ESPN: The Magazine Academic All-District 1 Third Team Selection.
Kayla has 5 years of coaching experience in fast-pitch softball. She is currently the pitching coach of Bentley University and the New England Diamond Gems Organization. She hopes to share her knowledge and experience with potential collegiate athletes and prepare them for the competition that lies ahead.
