Softball Philosophy

At the Bay State Softball Academy our philosophy is simple: Focus on the fundamentals of the game and take care of the little things that are the basis of sound mechanics. We also expect our players to demonstrate good sportsmanship, have a good attitude, and maintain a disciplined approach to the game of softball.

Success in softball, as well as in most aspects of life, depends largely on our approach to the task at hand. Our ballplayers are taught the value of mental preparation and focus. Overcoming adversity and keeping cool under pressure are also emphasized.

Most important, we want every young ballplayer to have fun and enjoy the game of softball.

Our newly expanded spacious training center, conveniently located in Framingham's Saxonville Mills, offers something for all levels of a developing ballplayer.
